Network communication cartridges upgrade standalone ESP-LXME and ESP-LXD series controllers to IQ satellite controllers that can be controlled by the IQ platform. The communication cartridge fits into the back of the controller's front panel and provides the communication link between the IQ central computer and remote site controllers.

• IQ is the perfect irrigation control solution for park and school technical departments, property managers, green space maintenance contractors, and water resource managers. IQ can manage small sites with single controllers as well as large areas with multiple controllers. IQ NCC cartridges are compatible with the ESP-LXME controller with a capacity of 1 to 48 stations, the ESP-LXD decoder controller with a capacity of 1 to 200 stations, the ESP-LXIVM controller with a capacity of 1 to 60 stations, and the ESP-LXIVM Pro with a capacity of 1 to 240 stations.

• Initially, IQ NCC cartridges are configured using a configuration wizard available in the settings selection screen of the ESP-LX series programmer. Communication configuration parameters are set using IQ software or NCC Configurator software designed for use on a netbook/laptop at the workplace.

• Direkte Satelliten

• Standorte mit mehreren Programmierern würden eine IQ NCC-Karte verwenden, die als Satellitenserver konfiguriert ist, und die anderen NCC-Karten, die als Satellitenclients konfiguriert sind. Der Server-Satellit verfügt über eine Kommunikationsverbindung zum IQ-Zentralcomputer und teilt diese Kommunikationsverbindung über Hochgeschwindigkeits-Datenkabel oder Funkgeräte mit den Client-Satelliten. Die Kommunikationsverbindung zwischen Server- und Client-Satelliten wird als IQNet™ bezeichnet.
• Satelliten im selben IQNet können meteorologische Sensoren und Hauptventile gemeinsam nutzen.
• Für Server- und Client-Satelliten, die Hochgeschwindigkeits-Datenkabel für die IQNet-Kommunikation verwenden, muss ein IQ CM-Kommunikationsmodul installiert werden. Server- und Client-Satelliten, die für die IQNet-Kommunikation Funkverbindungen nutzen, erfordern die Installation eines IQSSRADIO-Funkgeräts. Jedes Kartuschen-Kit enthält Kabel zum Anschluss der NCC-Kartusche an das Verbindungsmodul und/oder Funkgerät.
