Description: not dangerous for people, but harmful to the pool, the stray currents seriously aggravate the corrosion of equipment to electrolyze the metal compounds present in the water. The operation of the probes of salt machines can be particularly affected resulting in incorrect dosage and potentially dangerous chemicals.

To determine whether a probe is subject to stray currents, place the probe into a bucket of water of the pool and check whether the measurement obtained varies from that obtained directly from the pool. A probe unaffected should not show changes in measurements.
