Strips for determining the pH value, chlorine, bromine, alkalinity and hardness of spa water.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE CTX-961 TEST STRIPS

01/ REMOVE
With dry hands, open the lid and remove one test strip.

02/ IMMERGE
For best results, use the test strip away from skimmers and nozzles. Immerse the strip to the depth of the wrist
and remove with the pads upwards. DO NOT shake off excess water. Hold the strip level for 20 SECONDS.

03/ READ
Compare with the colour scale. Read in order: HR to TC/Br to pH to TA to TH. Read immediately after the 20 seconds mentioned above to ensure the correct values.

RANGE OF VALUES

Free chlorine (FC) ppm: 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 (recommended: 1-3)
Total chlorine (TC) ppm: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10 (recommended: 1-2)
Total bromine (Br) ppm: 0, 1, 2, 4, 10, 20 (recommended: 2-4)
pH: 6.4, 6.8, 7.2, 7.5, 7.8, 8.4 (recommended: 7.2-7.5)
Total alkalinity (TA) ppm: 0, 40, 80, 120, 180, 240 (recommended: 80-120)
Total hardness (TH) ppm: 0, 100, 150, 300, 800 (recommended: 150-300)

NOTES

The water analysed must be within the IDEAL parameters shown on the back of the pack. Keep the lid closed after removing the strips to prevent humidity inside the pack. ANALYSE TWICE A WEEK. STORE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
