Table set consisting of table and benches made from autoclave-treated wood, risk class IV. Screws and fittings in galvanised steel.
Autoclave - Treatment in which preserving agents are injected deep into the heartwood by a physical process combining the use of vacuum and pressure. This is the only process for risk classes R4 and R5, wood in direct contact with the ground and exposed to the weather.
Treatment with varnishes - Valid for risk classes R1, R2 and R3, usually carried out using water-based products: acrylic resins dispersed in water. Protects and colours the wood.
