Description : Les réactifs DPD sont une méthode colorimétrique basée sur la N-Diéthyl-p-phénylendiamine qui, au contact d'un échantillon d'eau, réagit en lui donnant une couleur magenta proportionnelle à la concentration de chlore présente dans l'eau.



Les réactifs DPD sont de couleur blanche et ont un aspect cristallin. Lorsqu'un réactif (comprimé ou poudre) n'est pas blanc et a une couleur grise/brune, il ne doit pas être utilisé.



Les réactifs liquides, quant à eux, sont généralement incolores ; s'ils sont bruns, ils ne doivent pas être utilisés. Pour éviter des résultats erronés, évitez d'utiliser des réactifs en mauvais état.
