Directions for Use

Use exclusively with a bromine feeder.

• Adjust the pH to between 7.0 and 7.6 and maintain total alkalinity (TAC) above 10 °f.
• The bromine concentration in the water depends on the water flow rate through the bromine tablet feeder.
• Recommended bromine levels:
  • Private swimming pools: 1–3 mg/L.
  • Public swimming pools: 3–5 mg/L.

Recommendations

• Automatic bromine measurement, regulation, and dosing using an automatic feeder are recommended.
• Do not use bromine in water containing more than 20 mg/L of cyanuric acid (chlorine stabiliser).
• Do not place bromine tablets in the skimmer, a floating dispenser, or a chlorine dosing system.
• In the event of algae growth or cloudy water, carry out a shock treatment using granular active oxygen.
• Filtration should operate every day for a duration equivalent to half the water temperature in degrees Celsius (e.g. 28°C water temperature = 14 hours of filtration).
• Higher product doses may be required in hot weather or when the pool is used intensively.

Safety Precautions

• Never mix different chemicals in concentrated form.
• Always add the product to water, never water to the product.
• Avoid direct contact between the product and delicate pool surfaces, such as liners and painted finishes, as discolouration or damage may occur.
