CTX-200/GR ChlorShock is a fast-dissolving, highly stabilised granular dichlor product containing 55% available chlorine, designed for swimming pool water treatment.

Ideal for shock treatments and for swimming pools with polyester, liner, painted or vinyl surfaces.

• Initial treatment: 150 g per 10 m³ of water.
• Maintenance treatment: 50 g per 10 m³ of water.

Dichlor, also known as fast-acting or shock chlorine, is primarily used to restore water quality when regular treatment has been neglected, after periods of heavy pool use or following a storm.

It is useful to keep this product on hand for emergencies and specific treatment needs.

Instructions for Use

Initial Treatment (Superchlorination)

1. Add 15 g of product per m³ of pool water.
2. After 2 hours, adjust the water pH to between 7.2 and 7.6 using a solid pH reducer, such as CTX-010 or CTX-020.

Maintenance Treatment

Once the water pH has been adjusted, add 1–3 g of CTX-200/GR ChlorShock per m³ of water daily.

These dosages are indicative and may be adjusted according to the characteristics of the pool, weather conditions and other factors.

Repeat the initial treatment (superchlorination) whenever the water becomes cloudy or loses its clarity.

Application Methods

• Place the required dose of CTX-200/GR ChlorShock in the skimmer, then switch on the filtration system to dissolve the product as water circulates through the skimmer.
• Alternatively, distribute the required dose evenly over the pool surface, following the product label instructions.

Recommended application time: Preferably at sunset, when no swimmers are in the pool.

Monitoring and Water Quality

• Free residual chlorine level: 0.5–2 mg/L.
• Measure chlorine and pH using a suitable pool water test kit.
• Check the water at least twice a day.
