CTX-239 Fix-a-Leak Aqua Stop is a leak-sealing product suitable for all types of swimming pools and tanks, including pipework systems.

Ideal for: In-ground swimming pools.

Key Benefits

CTX-239 Fix-a-Leak is a concentrated formula designed to seal leaks in almost any type of material. It is recommended for small leaks of unknown or uncertain origin, up to 1/8 inch (3 mm) in size.

Instructions for Use

1. Raise the pool water level to its normal operating level and mark the waterline on the pool wall with a pencil.
2. Place the product container in warm water to warm it up.
3. Set the sand filter to RECIRCULATE mode. If the pool uses a cartridge filter, remove the cartridges from the system.
4. Remove the salt chlorination cell or close the water-treatment bypass, if fitted.
5. Remove all sensors, probes and other similar components.
6. Use 1 litre of CTX-239 Fix-a-Leak per 60 m³ of water.
7. Slowly pour CTX-239 Fix-a-Leak near the skimmer or suction inlet.
8. Run the filtration pump using only the main drain, if possible. If this is not possible, connect a manual vacuum cleaner to the suction inlet and leave it running on the pool floor for 2 hours.
9. After this, operate the filtration pump normally for 12 hours per day, with the valves in their normal operating positions.
10. After 2 days, check the pool water level.
11. If the leak has decreased but has not stopped completely, an additional 1 litre of CTX-239 Fix-a-Leak is recommended for a 60 m³ pool.
12. Wait another 2 days and check the water level again.

Important Precautions

• Never use more than 5 litres per 100 m³ of pool water if the pool is to be used again without replacing the water.
• If higher product concentrations are used, it is recommended that the swimming pool or spa water be replaced before the pool is used again.
