1. Promoting entity

This giveaway is promoted by IoT-Pool Unipessoal, Lda., headquartered at R. Catassol 1644, 4470-842 Maia, hereinafter referred to as the “Promoting Entity”.

Participation implies full acceptance of these rules and regulations.

2. Giveaway

The giveaway consists of 1 (one) Weber Go Anywhere gas grill, under the terms and conditions set out in these rules and regulations.

Participation is free and is not conditional upon making any purchase.

3. Entry period

The giveaway runs from 00:00 on 3 September 2026 to 23:59 on 17 September 2026, mainland Portugal legal time.

Any entry submitted after this period ends will not be considered valid.

4. Who can participate

Individuals who cumulatively meet the following requirements may participate:

• Be 18 years of age or older, or the legal age of majority in their country of residence, if higher;

• Be able to receive the prize in the country where they reside, under section 11.2;

• Meet the other conditions set out in these rules and regulations.

Employees of the Promoting Entity are excluded.

The Promoting Entity reserves the right to exclude entries from territories where holding this giveaway or sending the prize is prohibited or subject to legal restrictions.

5. How to enter

To participate, the participant must:

• Subscribe to IoT-Pool’s commercial communications:* by completing the form.

• Follow the @iotpool account on Instagram or Facebook;

• Comment on the official giveaway post, tagging another person;

• Share the post to a Story, tagging @iotpool

To proceed with the subscription, both options must be selected; you will then receive a confirmation email;

If the participant’s Instagram/Facebook account is private*, they must keep a screenshot of the share, which may be requested by the Promoting Entity for verification purposes;*

The subscription confirmation requirement is deemed fulfilled for participants who, as of the start date of the giveaway, are already subscribed to IoT-Pool’s commercial communications; no new confirmation message will be sent in these cases.

6. Subscription confirmation

The additional entry relating to commercial communications is only awarded after subscription has been confirmed.

After selecting this option on the form, the participant must check the inbox of the email address used and, if necessary, the spam, junk mail and promotions folders, and confirm via the link received.

If you do not receive the confirmation email, or encounter any other problem relating to the subscription, the participant must contact the Promoting Entity at help@iot-pool.com, within the entry period, stating the email address used. The Promoting Entity will manually check the situation and provide the necessary assistance.

7. Entry validation

All entries are subject to verification by the Promoting Entity.

At the time of the draw, the Promoting Entity verifies whether the selected participant meets the requirements set out in sections 4 and 5.

If any participation requirement has not been met, the entry is considered invalid and a substitute participant is selected.

8. Draw

The draw will take place on 18 September 2026, at random, from all valid entries.

The Promoting Entity will also select substitute participants, in the same order as the draw, to ensure that the prize can be awarded if the initially selected participant does not meet the requirements or does not respond within the established deadline.

9. Contacting the winner

The winner will be contacted on 18 September 2026, through the email address or Instagram account used to enter.

The winner has a maximum of 7 (seven) days to respond, providing their full address and telephone number for delivery.

If they do not respond within this period, or if their entry does not meet the requirements set out in these rules and regulations, the first substitute participant will be contacted under the same conditions.

10. Prize and delivery

10.1. Prize

The prize consists of 1 (one) Weber Go Anywhere gas grill.

The prize cannot be converted into cash, exchanged for another product or benefit, or assigned or transferred to third parties after being awarded.

Only one prize will be awarded throughout the entire giveaway.

10.2. Delivery and shipping costs

Prize delivery is free in Portugal and in the other Member States of the European Union, with transport costs borne by the Promoting Entity.

For destinations outside the European Union, shipping conditions will be determined on a case-by-case basis, by prior agreement between the Promoting Entity and the winner. In these cases, any customs duties, import taxes, customs fees or other charges applicable in the destination country are the responsibility of the winner, unless otherwise agreed.

If delivery cannot be made to the winner’s country of residence, or if no agreement is reached regarding shipping conditions within 15 (fifteen) days, the Promoting Entity will make a new selection among the substitute participants.

Delivery will be made within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days after the winner provides their address and telephone contact details, without prejudice to longer periods resulting from customs procedures.

The winner is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery details provided. Failed deliveries due to an incorrect address or repeated absence at the delivery location do not entitle the winner to a new delivery without prior agreement.

11. Winner announcement

The Promoting Entity may disclose the winner’s first name and surname initial, as well as information concerning the awarding of the prize, through its communication channels.

No other personal data of the winner will be publicly disclosed. 

12. Personal data

The data controller is IoT-Pool Unipessoal, Lda., using the contact details indicated in section 1.

The participant’s name and email address are collected and, additionally in the case of the winner, the delivery address and telephone contact details.

The data are processed for managing and validating participation, conducting the draw, contacting the winner and delivering the prize, on the basis of the necessity to carry out the procedure in which the data subject is a party.

The sending of commercial communications is based on the participant’s express consent, provided through a separate, optional option that is not pre-selected in the registration form. This consent is independent of participation in the giveaway.

Retention. Data of participants who have not consented to receive commercial communications are deleted within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days after delivery of the prize. Data of participants who have consented are retained for as long as the consent remains valid. The winner’s delivery-related data are retained for the period required by applicable legal obligations.

Withdrawal. Consent to receive commercial communications may be withdrawn at any time, without justification and at no cost, through the unsubscribe link included in all messages sent or by contacting help@iot-pool.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point, nor does it invalidate participation in the giveaway.

Data subject rights. The participant may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection by contacting help@iot-pool.com

The data are not disclosed to third parties, except to service providers strictly necessary for managing the giveaway and delivering the prize.

13. Invalid entries

The following entries, among others, are considered invalid and may be excluded:

• Those that do not comply with the conditions set out in sections 4, 5 and 6;

• Those containing false, incorrect or incomplete data;

• Those made through fraudulent or automated methods;

• Those submitted outside the entry period.

The Promoting Entity reserves the right to exclude any entry it considers fraudulent or intended to circumvent the rules of the giveaway.

14. Liability

The Promoting Entity cannot be held responsible for technical failures, Internet connection problems, email delivery errors, spam filters or other external circumstances that prevent the participant from submitting their entry or confirming their subscription in a timely manner.

The participant is responsible for using a valid and accessible email address and for checking the different folders in their mailbox.

All contacts relating to technical difficulties must be made through help@iot-pool.com, under the terms of section 7.

15. Changes or cancellation of the giveaway

The Promoting Entity reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway if force majeure circumstances or other situations occur that make it impossible to conduct it as initially planned, safeguarding rights already acquired.

Any relevant change will be communicated through IoT-Pool’s official channels.

16. Acceptance of the rules and regulations

Participation in the giveaway implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules and regulations.

Failure to accept any of the conditions set out herein makes participation impossible or invalidates it.

17. Relationship with Meta

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram or Facebook.

The information provided by participants is made available exclusively to the Promoting Entity and not to Meta Platforms, Inc.

18. Applicable law

These rules and regulations are drawn up in Portuguese, with the Portuguese version prevailing over any translation.

Portuguese law applies, and the courts of the district of Porto shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.

19. Final provisions

Any situations not provided for in these rules and regulations shall be analysed and decided by the Promoting Entity in accordance with applicable legislation.
